ACCOMMODATION

Lodge Rooms

Our Lodge rooms are located on the ground floor and very comfortable. These rooms open out directly onto the lodge lawn and all have the same unimpeded views of Lake Te Anau and the surrounding mountains. The decor reflects the landscape, with muted natural tonings and huge picture windows frame the lake. Top quality bedding, towels and toiletries add a sense of pampering. The ensuite bathrooms merge porcelain and swamp kauri with the latest bathroom conveniences.

Executive Suite

Our guest suite at the top of the Main Lodge features tall windows that wrap round the suite letting Lake and mountains inside. Spacious and welcoming our Executive Suite looks far out over the lake to the mountains and sky and features chunky feature beams, and relaxing spot lighting.

Inside the separate lounge offers a riverstone gas fireplace and a comfortable sitting area. The master bedroom uses earth colours and the Suite decor is muted natural tonings reflecting the landscape. Bathrooms are particularly handsome, with basins of New Zealand swamp Kauri, more natural tones, and double walk in rain showers.

Deluxe Lodge Rooms

Our Deluxe Lodge rooms are located on the 2nd floor with elevated views out across lake Te Anau with back drops of the Murchison and Kepler Mountains. With more of a flare for the modern as well as the natural, Deluxe Lodge Rooms combine a mixture of contemporary and rustic elements to achieve a very comfortable room style. Ensuite bathrooms merge porcelain and swamp kauri with the latest bathroom conveniences.

Log Cabins

Complementing the Lodge’s guest rooms are two traditionally built whimsical Log Cabins, ideal for both families and couples.

Both Log Cabins are separate and private from the main lodge located 200 metres behind the main lodge itself. The cabins do not share the same unimposing views as the main lodge of Lake Te Anau itself but have lovely views to the northwest towards Lake Te Anau and to the mountains of the Fiordland National Park. To the north and east, views are out across rural farm land. Both Cabins have been built with hand peeled sun dried New Zealand Oregon logs. Interior finishing is with recycled native New Zealand timber floors, ceilings, joinery and bench tops.

Log Cabin 1 – our lead in room type and suited to couples only. Warm and comfortable with a queen sized bed studio style, kitchenette and log cabin style decor and furnishings.

Log Cabin 2 – can sleep 4-5 people comfortably. Cozy and efficient gas fire place, spacious interior, kitchenette with separate queen size bed down stairs and on a mezzanine floor above a king size bed and single bed.
