3 Day Jervis Bay Bush Retreat Getaway

An All Inclusive Luxury Safari Style Retreat

Overview

Your 3 day bush luxury retreat is just 2 ½ hrs drive south of Sydney, near the pristine clear waters and white sand beaches of Jervis Bay.  Your home for the two night is an eco-camp which offers a unique blend of fine food and wine, cosy canvas accommodation and a peaceful bush setting,  the perfect base from which to explore this nature lover’s paradise.

Your fine dining experience is located at The Gunyah, a unique space, built high off the ground to enjoy the sea breeze and a wonderful position amongst tree tops.
In the warmer months, the sliding doors open up for outdoor dining on the verandah, providing a bushy backdrop to candlelit meals and to observe the goings on of our resident possums, sugar gliders and birdlife.
In winter, an open fire with cosy lounges is the perfect place to curl up after dinner with a nightcap, perhaps swap a few traveling tales with other guests, or enjoy a game of cards.

And visit here is complete without visiting the local residents of the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay, the Bottlenose Dolphins.
On our Dolphin Tour you will have the privilege of watching these beautiful mammals. We often find pods of Dolphins feeding around reef systems, particularly Plantation Point and Callala, and sometimes they swim and race hundreds of meters to play on our bow.

Things To Do

Dolphin Cruise

Jervis Bay has been a Marine park for 18 years and is now one of the most unique and healthy ecosystems in Australia. That’s why the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay are home to over 100 Bottlenose Dolphins. On our Dolphin Tour you will have the privilege of watching these beautiful mammals. We often find pods of Dolphins feeding around reef systems, particularly Plantation Point and Callala, and sometimes they swim and race hundreds of meters to play on our bow.

The Bottlenose Dolphin is highly recognisable and known for its long snout and distinctive smile. Friendly and active, you will fall in love with them the moment you lay eyes on them.

DURATION: 1.5 HOURS

Whale Cruise

The Whale Cruise gives you the rare opportunity to witness the majestic beauty of our migrating Humpback Whales. Imagine setting off on the immaculate Jervis Bay, on a sunny winter’s day, and having these awe inspiring Humpback Whales greet us on their journey. A truly life changing experience set against rugged cliffs and ancient sea caves.

On the Northern migration we sight Whales within a mile or so off the dramatic sea cliffs on Jervis Bay’s peninsula, making it one of the most exciting Whale watching experiences on the East coast of Australia. During the Southern migration, we begin to get mothers and their new born calves coming to rest in Jervis Bay. During this time viewing the Whales is in the sheltered waters of Jervis Bay, offering the most unique viewing of the season. A lasting, treasured memory.

The Jervis Bay Passage Cruise is accompanied by informative commentary that leaves our guests with a wonderful respect and knowledge of Jervis Bay.
