VOMO ISLAND: Vomo Island Fiji is a privately owned 87 hectare (225 acre) island located in the Mamanuca Island group of Fiji, on the cusp of the Yasawa Islands. There is no other resort on VOMO, so guests have the entire island to explore, play and relax. Soft sands fringe VOMO and drift into the clear waters. VOMO LAILAI (LITTLE VOMO): A short distance to the west of VOMO sits Vomo Lai Lai, a true deserted island. Surrounded by trademark aqua waters, this tiny island has some of the finest snorkelling and diving we have to offer. Vomo Lai Lai can be hired by romantic couples for your own Robinson Crusoe experience. We take you by boat the short 1 mile/1.6 kilometres to the island, set up a beautiful gourmet picnic for you to enjoy under a shady umbrella. You’ll have a two-way radio to call when you want to return back to ‘civilisation’ at VOMO…. or if you run out of champagne.

VOMO’s Executive Chef Michael Fosbender, leads the team in the creation of the world-class cuisine and premium international beverage selections served throughout VOMO. His extensive knowledge and innate talent for fresh and innovative cuisine, brings a varied and eclectic mix to every meal time.  Chef Fosbender is supported by Chef de Cuisine, Thushan Iranga, who tantalises the taste buds each and every day, with flavour packed cuisine, suited to the tropical environment.  The VOMO culinary team ensure VOMO’s highly regarded reputation as a premier gourmet destination in the South Pacific.
With produce sourced from the best domestic and international suppliers, dishes are complemented with ingredients straight from VOMO’s own gardens. With a great love for food and creating memorable dining experiences for guests, our team strives to better the dining experience with each meal.  All meals are included for all guests throughout your stay at the resort’s restaurants.
Each Wednesday evening, VOMO host a cocktail party on the beachfront for all guests to meet our team & enjoy complimentary coconut cocktails and other refreshments.  Following this twilight hour of beverages and mingling, the VOMO family of staff perform a special cultural performance, called a ‘Meke’ (pronounced meh-kay).  This vibrant performance of song, dance and movement, is truly captivating and provides an insight into the history of Fiji.  This is followed by a Kava ceremony where the ‘Chief’ serves the national drink that is made in a timber Tanoa bowl and performs the ceremonial offering of the drink to special guests who wish to partake in tasting it.  All guests are then treated to a Fijian Feast where meats and vegetables are cooked in an earth oven, that is prepared on Wednesday morning and has been cooking all afternoon.  This traditional style of Fijian cooking is called a ‘Lovo’.  The food items such as pork, fish and root vegetables are wrapped in palm leaves and buried in coals, resulting in a unique smokey flavour.  The Lovo is accompanied by a barbecue and buffet and VOMO’s famous ‘dessert room’.  The acoustic Fijian music continues throughout the evening.  Often heralded as everyone’s favourite night in Fiji, this is not to be missed.  No surcharges apply.
By special arrangement with the Indulge team, private lunches or dinners can be served as a special treat for loved ones or as an intimate option for groups or families wishing to dine together. Â Choose to dine on the deck of your villa or residence or perhaps down on the beach front at twilight, with the sand between your toes and the sounds of the waves on the shore. Â Ask our Indulge team about Yasawa Lobster & Chilli Crab Platters optional at additional supplement and on request subject to availability.
VOMO offers one of the most stunning adult only zones in the Pacific – The Rocks.  This purpose built destination, on Vomo Island, is perfectly positioned on the western tip of the island and features a pool, expansive relaxation decks, a cocktail bar and a restaurant.  From here you will enjoy some of the best views (and sunsets) in the South Pacific.
Once you’ve luxuriously lounged your way around every pool chair you may find yourself wanting a little more action. VOMO will not disappoint. Whether it’s land or water-based ‘things to do’ you’ll find yourself wondering why it’s been so long since you’ve allowed yourself to have so much fun.
Non motorised water activities including snorkelling are included in the daily rates. Â The snorkelling around VOMO is exceptional and can be accessed directly from the beach. Â Guests may also join the daily escorted snorkel safari with qualified instructors and visit numerous great sites near to our two islands of VOMO and Vomo Lailai. Â The beaches are protected by an outer reef, making it a great environment for swimming or snorkelling throughout the day.
The Kids Village @ VOMO is a purpose built, air-conditioned, child care facility with large indoor and
outdoor play areas. Care is provided on complimentary basis for all children aged 3 – 12years. Open
from 9am to 9pm every day, all year round. Children under 3 may attend the Kids Village without
charge however they should be accompanied by an adult carer such as parent or Baby Butler.
The Kids Village Activity program is split into two age groups; 3 to 7 year old Little Islanders and 8 to 12
year old Little Chiefs. Fun activities indoors and out, are offered across the day, with the program
changing daily. No charge for participation.
Kids Village facilities include:
Dress up clothes racks and mirrors, library, soft floor play room with quality toys
and games, art and craft area, media room with TV/DVD and bean bags, play equipment & cubby house
and large lawn area.
Activities on the Kids Village schedule include but not limited to; hermit crab hunting, arts and crafts,
ball games, sand castles and picnics, disco nights, Fijian dance and language lessons, beach bonfires,
storytelling, volleyball, coconut husking, basket weaving, mini olympics, fish feeding, garland making, night
games on the flood lit tennis court, face painting, musical games, cooking lessons.

The interior is island chic and very functional, with contemporary furnishings of timber, rattan, and natural fibres.
Villas feature privacy curtains between the bed and the lounge area and a dressing room at the rear of each villa. Large bathrooms feature free-standing bathtubs and walk-in shower, provide a spacious haven for bathing.
The villas located higher on the hillside pathway feature stunning views over the ocean and island, whilst the lower Hillside Villas afford pleasant garden views.

Located only steps away from the beachfront, Beachfront Villas are VOMO’s most popular accommodation for couples or families of up to 4.  Villas have dressing rooms at the rear of each villa, privacy curtains to separate the bed from the lounge area and very large bathrooms with free standing bath tub and walk in shower.  With contemporary island chic furnishings in a neutral palette, your Beachfront Villa or Haven opens onto a deck with personal sun loungers and vistas of the palm fringed beach. There are duplex pairs of Beachfront Villas available with inter-connecting internal door, to suit families. The Beachfront Villas (not Havens) are  interconnecting with the neighbouring villa. Perfect for families of 5 or more who wish to be in close proximity.

Beachfront Family Retreats feature a large verandah to the side and front of the villa and outdoor luxury bathing tub and shower. The interior has a large bathroom featuring walk in shower, twin basins, toilet and walk in wardrobe. They are absolutely ideal for families of up to five people.  One king bed and one single divan feature in the villa, with room for additional rollaway beds or cot for a child or infant if required. This villa type also interconnects with another Beachfront Retreat, making it the perfect solution for a large family requiring two interconnecting  villas to accommodate a maximum of 10 persons across the two villas. Existing bedding for 3 persons in each villa.

of Reef House bedroom 5 which is King bed only.
VOMO operates a seamless transfer service between Nadi and Vomo, using private car transfers from
Nadi Airport to connect with a fast speedboat transfer between Vuda Point Marina and VOMO or vice
versa. All flights in and out of Nadi can be met. The transfer to Vuda Point Marina is around 20
minutes drive, connecting with the speedboat ride of approximately 35 minutes to Vomo. The vessel
can take up to 20 passenger plus their luggage. It is fitted with GPS navigation systems, VHF radio,
safety equipment and life jackets as per Marine Safety Authority of Fiji requirements. Prices below are
quoted as ONE WAY and include the car transfer from Nadi Airport to Vuda Point or vice versa.
Return private airport transfers can be added from $200AUD per adult and $100AUD per child ( 4 to 6 yrs ) one way. Infants up to 3 yrs travel free of charge. Transfers include a private car pick up/drop off at the airport and speed boat to VOMO Island.

30 days or more prior to arrival no cancellation fee
Between 15 and 29 days prior to arrival 50% cancellation fee of total booking value
14 days or less prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee
No shows or unused nights 100% cancellation fee

*Full names of all passengers, flight number and arrival time required at time of booking. *Transfer may be shared with other guests. *Cancellations must be received in writing by email, no later than 7 days prior to departure to qualify for refund. -3 to 6 days prior, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. -48 hours prior, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. *Amendments to schedule due to airline changes and situations beyond the control of the passengers, such as inclement weather, will be re-scheduled at the first available opportunity. *Luggage allowance is maximum 2 suitcases plus hand luggage per person. Golf clubs, surf boards, infant prams may be carried at no additional charge but prior notification must be given as may not fit in vehicle. *Infant seats can be provided with advance notification at no additional cost.
BREAKFAST – served daily at The Reef Restaurant from 7.00am to 10.30am. A full a la carte menu
featuring fresh blended juices, prepared handmade cereals, bakery items, fruit and hot breakfast choices
is offered, with barista made coffees and pots of specialty teas. Vegan, Vegetarian, Lactose Free and
Gluten Free options offered.
LUNCH – served daily at The Reef Restaurant from 12.00pm to 15.00pm. A daily changing three
course menu is offered with 3 or 4 selections in each course. Vegan, Vegetarian, Lactose Free and
Gluten Free options offered.
A light lunch menu is also offered at The Rocks for adults to enjoy poolside or in the Rocks Restaurant.
There is no additional charge if guests choose this option instead of the 3 course lunch at the Reef
Restaurant. Beach picnics can also be arranged with one day’s notice. Additional charges may apply.
DINNER – served nightly at The Reef Restaurant (families with children welcome) from 18.00-21.00.
On balmy evenings, the Reef Restaurant dining may be set up around the pool under the stars. On most
evenings, a 3 course a la carte dinner is offered at The Reef Restaurant with 4 options per course. On
Wednesday evenings (subject to change), enjoy complimentary drinks and canapés at the Management
Cocktail Party, followed by a staff Meke cultural dance performance and Fijian themed dinner. On
selected evenings, The Rocks will feature a South East Asian cuisine with delicious selections from the
Tandoor oven, Robata Grill and Raw Bar. The minimum age at The Rocks is 16 years. Vegan menu
available. Gluten free, Lactose free and Vegetarian options available. Most dietary requests including
coeliac can be fulfilled by emailing [email protected] in advance. For those with allergies, we will
require a form to be completed and photograph of the guest (passport size) on arrival.
Children may dine at the Kids Village for dinner from 17.00hrs (5pm) or earlier by arrangement, or may
join adults from 18.00hrs (6pm) to 21.00hrs (9pm) at The Reef Restaurant. Little Islander’s meals are
available from 11.00am to 19.00pm from the Kids Menu.
Each family will receive 4 hours of Baby Butler services per day, that may be used between the hours of
8.00am and 10.00pm. Baby Butlers may care for up to 2 children only per villa. The 4 hours must be
used on the same day and may not be accumulated. No credit or refund for unused hours.
Baby Butlers are available for additional hours of babysitting services @ FJD$20 per hour per sitter paid direct. A
maximum of two children per Baby Butler is recommended. VOMO will endeavour to provide the
same Baby Butler throughout the guests stay.
